Announcements: 


City of Falls Church Ranked Nation's #1 'Healthiest Community'

The City of Falls Church, Virginia received recognition as the top city in the U.S. for the annual ranking of the nation's "healthiest communities" from U.S. News & World Report. 

At the top of the metrics for Healthiest Community was Education tallying 100 percent, followed by other strong metrics for Population Health (97 percent), Economy (96 percent), Infrastructure (95 percent), and Food & Nutrition (94 percent).

The media outlet covered the Little City in a news article entitled “Meet the ‘Little City’ in Virginia That’s America’s Healthiest Community,” as well as publishing,“Falls Church: Small but Mighty – and Healthy”, an op-ed from Mayor Letty Hardi.  

Upcoming Public Meetings and Events 
     
Save the Date – The Falls Church Festival will take place on Saturday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 48th annual event will feature the Taste of Falls Church, fun for kids, and entertainment for all. The City will also celebrate the culmination of its 75th Anniversary campaign.  


Economic Development: Virginia Named "Top State for Business"  

CNBC named Virginia “America’s Top State for Business” for an unparalleled sixth year, a testament to the Old Dominion's unwavering commitment to excellence.
